My Journey as a Blogger

My journey in blogging has officially on December 10th, 2015 but I didn’t start keeping up with it until last month as we approached the launch date for book one in my Sleeping Legion Series.  In that time I’ve ‘met’ some pretty cool people, a few military veterans and learned a lot about the craft of writing.  I’ve joined the bookish community and it has been a blast, though sometimes a time suck.  Like Simon, I’ve found many amazing people on here that have helped me with me, my writing and my post-war issues.  What I’ve found here is a caring and supportive community and it’s great!

Advice to Bloggers

First, I’ll cheat and steal a part of what Simon recommended.  You should always be true to yourself.  Picking up ideas from others, grow and learn, but above all remain true to who you are.  I’ve found that I used what I call my ‘Mom Rule,’ I don’t go wrong.  Basically, I ask myself if this is something I would be okay doing or saying in front of my mom.  I then let the answer to that dictate my path.  Also, blogging can turn into a devilish time suck if you’re not careful, so use your time wisely.

  1. I’ve been surfing online more than three hours today, yet I never found any interesting article
like yours. It’s pretty worth enough for me.
In my view, if all site owners and bloggers made good content as you did,
the internet will be much more useful than ever before.
