I’m actually debating putting my recently started novel off until NaNoWriMo too. I just started thinking about that today.

I’m better off waiting I think, by the time I finish it and come up with a new idea November will be over. I plan on writing short stories this month to keep my skills up.

Great post but I don’t read sci-fi, I just watch it. When you all start making these incredible sounding books into movies, I’ll be waiting with the popcorn 🙂
