Book 4 Updates

Hello Space Cadets! I just wanted to give you an update on where we are in the process for Book 4. First, the title has been decided!!  We chose Insurgency: Spartika for the official name, so I can stop calling it “Book 4!”  And to make things better, it looks like the final book in The Sleeping Legion will be coming out this month! But what sort of reveal would this be if I didn’t give you peek at the new cover? Continue reading “Book 4 Updates”

SciFy Shenanigans: Ian J. Malone

Hey Space Cadets, how’s everyone doing today?  I’m doing fantastic, very busy though, between doctor appointments for the family; family time; and writing – there is very little day left.  Fun times!

Let’s get right to the point of my latest blog post!  The interview bug strikes again!  I have another one for my SciFi Shenanigans Series.  I’ll send out the interview form to any author that fits the broad niche category that Amazon calls Science Fiction.  If you know anyone you want me to interview, contact me through my blog and I’ll give it a shot!  I love giving everyone a chance to get personal with the names behind the books they love, so here goes nothing! SciFy Shenanigans: Richard Fox

Book Review: Meltdown (Mech Wars Book 3)

Hey Space Cadets, how’re you all doing?  I hope you’ve sufficiently recovered from your turkey comma, and are back at it?  Survived the dreaded Black Friday, without loss of life or limb?  I ate the turkey, avoided the shopping, and visited with my in-laws.  Now that the holidays are over, I’m back to the writing.  I should have an announcement on the release of my fourth and final novel in The Sleeping Legion Series soon.  I’m working on that new, super-duper secret project and having a blast.  The instant I can share more, I will!  I’ve got a short story in The The Expanding Universe 3 Anthology that’s coming out on the 15th of December. If you want tons of fun, for the low price of 99c, then pre-order it!  It’s a collection of some pretty amazing stories. Continue reading “Book Review: Meltdown (Mech Wars Book 3)”

Advanced Warning – Tomorrow for Cyber Monday!

Hey Space Cadets, I hope you’re all on the road to recovering from your Turkey Day food coma!  I’m doing well, and enjoyed time with my wife’s family!  Now that the holiday is come and gone, I’ll show my thankfulness by re-starting my healthier living goals.  I plan on building back up to my mile walks in the morning, and will add in some stretching.  I’m working on adapting my diet more holistically, instead of just dieting.  I hope it’ll mean I can keep it up, since it’ll be a lifestyle change, instead of a temporary culinary one.  We’ve started doing some meal prep as a family, so we cook in bulk on the weekends and then freeze it.  This way, even when I need quick meals, I can have healthy ones.  Finally, I plan to add yoga to the mix.  My doctor thinks it can help me regain some of my lost mobility, though I’ve tried so many things I’m a bit skeptical.  My good friends Jason Anspach and Nick Cole recommended DDP Yoga, so I’ll give that a shot. Guest Book Review: Hyperion

Hey Space Cadets, today I have the privilege of allowing a friend and fellow author share his thoughts on a book.  I’ve extended this invitation before to anyone who wants to post a book review; I’ll happily publish your thoughts.  Because of this review, I’ve added this book to my TBR (To Be Read) List and can’t wait to dig into it. Lately I’ve been reading awesome scifi, and working on my super-duper top-secret project.  I can’t wait to tell you about, but until then let’s get to author Matt Herron.
