Hey Space Cadets, I hope this blog post finds you well. I’m doing well, making headway in my projects. But enough of that, let’s look at some other books in the military science fiction genre! So, without further ado, here is the next installment in my series of book reviews. However, because I got so into this series, I forgot to write individual reviews. Instead, I’ll be writing a review of the entire series. Continue reading “Book Review: The Lost Fleet Series”

Book Review: The Renegade Star Series
Hey Space Cadets, I hope this blog post finds you well. I’m doing well, making headway into the next book in The Reservist Trilogy, which is a part of the larger Order of the Centurion Series. I have no clue about publishing schedules, but that’s the rub when you work with larger publishing empires like the fine folks at Galaxy’s Edge. In the meantime, let’s look at some other books in the space opera Continue reading “Book Review: The Renegade Star Series”

Book Review: Divided We Fall

Hey Space Cadets, here is the next installment in my series of book reviews. I wish I had a lot to tell you, update wise, but I’m busy diving into writing my next novel. Instead, here’s a look at what I’ve been reading on my daily walks. In order to streamline the review process and make writing them less onerous, I have tried a more abbreviated format. Please be sure to share your thoughts on this change, and we can adjust fire going forward. Continue reading “Book Review: Divided We Fall”
Mental Health Matters: JR Handley

Hello Space Cadets, how are you doing today?
Things are going well here, my recently published book, The Reservist is hopefully entertaining those who were so kind as to give the audiobook a chance – the paperback/ebook is out as well. We don’t seem to know here if it is fall or winter. I’m still in awe at how well the books are doing, but it just goes to show what you can do when you have a strong support team on your side. I’m pretty blunt in my about me section that my books are a team endeavor as we compensate for the residual complications from one too many blows to the head. WRITERS ARE CRAZY PEOPLE

Hello Space Cadets, today is another throwback post. I think this story was posted way back when, before anyone had found this post so I decided it needed an edit because it’s too funny to go unloved. This happened when I was writing book one, The Legion Awakes, in the local Starbucks. The very one whose store number became Lance Scipio’s beloved 6907th TAC Regiment. I was spread out over the long corner table organizing the story, so I could fix issues Tim C. Taylor had with the combat scene. The scene in question was part of what became the novella The Demons of Kor-Lir which is still available to those who sign up for my mailing list. Continue reading “WRITERS ARE CRAZY PEOPLE”
