GrassHey Space Cadets, I hope life finds you well!  I am doing good, preparing for my wife’s surgery next month and trying to write every day.  The good news, the surgeon thinks she will recover quickly and be back to where she was before the car accident last year!  Then it’s back to the races. I still have my Order of the Centurion book in the Galaxy’s Edge Universe tentatively scheduled for late fall and I submitted a short story in the next Four Horsemen Universe anthology in September. I should find out if it was accepted soon, and I’ll let you know! I’ll have additional writing announcements soon, as a certain project is nearing a date with an editing guru! Hey Space Cadets, here is the next installment in my series of book reviews. I’ve been in a reading slump, but as you can see from my last two posts I have come out of it with a bang. Though lately, life has been chaotic, I have enjoyed the reading I have fit into my schedule and wanted to share what I just read! I’ve finished writing my second novel for the year and sent it off to the editor, so I’m pretty happy. I’m hoping both of these will come out later this year. Hey Space Cadets, here is the next installment in my series of book reviews.  As I’ve mentioned earlier, I’m a member of the TRMN.  It’s a fan club for the Honor Harrington Universe by David Weber, and they do contests for their members all the time.  The last reading contest recently ended, and it was so fun that there is another one. Like before, we get points for page reads.  I’m thrilled that it prompted me to continue reading, as I’ve let writing get in the way of reading!  In addition to reading more in the last few months, this month I’ve been working on the editorial revisions for my next book.

SciFy Shenanigans: Bonnie Milani

Hey Space Cadets, how’s everyone doing today?  I’m doing amazing, taking a bit of time to spend with my family.  Just a wee bit of cabin fever, after being snowed in my the wintery wastelands, but I’ve managed to survive thus far!

 

While I’m locked indoors, I’m working on a couple of short stories and waiting for the edits on my super-duper secret project.  If you haven’t read my previous posts, my fourth book, Insurgency: Spartika, has been released into the untamed Amazonian jungles.  For those who haven’t already read my series, feel free to buy the entire Sleeping Legion series! I will be working on my next super-secret collaborative project, and reviewing my editors report on the previous classified novel.  I can’t wait to tell you about it, really!  I hate being such a tease, but, you know, lawyers.  Now on to today’s blog – our SciFy Shenanigans Interview with Bonnie Milani.

Let’s get right to the point of my latest blog posting!  Yes, I’ve gotten bit JR in Weedsby the interview bug!  I’ve started the Warrior Weekend Series, and the ‘SciFy Shenanigans’ series. The Shenanigans series serves to talk with other authors of science fiction, it’s the only requirement!

I like talking to authors about their latest books and their process.  They’ll be able to pitch their other stuff too, of course, but when authors have deep back catalogs, it’s hard not to get into the weeds with them.  Those weeds have grown too high, so I took a weed whacker to the mess.  Here are the final results!  Now grab your popcorn and enjoy the ride! Book Review: Tin Man

Hey Space Cadets, here is the next installment in my book review series. This one is a little different, as it’s a review of a short story that in the Galaxy’s Edge Universe I love. Reading this was my reward to myself for finishing the Super-Duper-Secret novel I was writing this month.
