Hey Space Cadets, how’s everyone doing today? I’m doing well, pushing myself to get back into my exercise routine. I’m desperately trying to undo the damage these COVID gains and get the scale going back in the right direction. Walking a mile and a half every day wearing a 40-pound weighted vest and listening to epic audiobooks. The summer weather will make this easier if I don’t drown in my own sweat first! If you’re
Hey Space Cadets, how’s everyone doing today? I’m doing well, trying to undo the damage these COVID gains and get the scale going back in the right direction. The summer weather will make this easier if we can just get the rain to stop. In the meantime, I recently found out that an author I enjoy had some sales going on, so I had to share them! They’re only on sale for a week, so get it while it lasts!
Hey Space Cadets, I hope everyone is doing amazing today! I wanted to show you my latest achievement during this COVID lockdown! I managed to get my small Victory Garden up and running! I don’t have a large useable yard, but I have a 5-foot by 5-foot concrete patio that I can use. With few options, I planted a small bucket garden, which I’m very proud of. This is my first garden; I’ve never even had a house plant before this. Luckily, my mother-in-law was raised in the sticks and knew
Hey, you beautiful Space Cadets! I wanted to take a break from writing my new series, The Cyborg Corps, to let you know about this fantastic steal of a deal! My series, The Sleeping Legion, is currently on sale. If you haven’t read them, now would be a good time to buy!
Hello Space Cadet, today I wanted to muse about some parts of my time in the Big Green Weenie. It inspired this post, as I tackle the role that cadences and martial music in the development of military culture and
Hey Space Cadets, how’s everyone doing today? I’m doing fantastic…. writing, writing, writing. With that said, let’s get right to the point of this blog posting! As you can see, I still haven’t shaken off the interview bug! I’ve got my Warrior Weekend Series, and now the ‘SciFi Shenanigans’ series that inspired my podcast with Chris Winder. You can find the podcast here if you haven’t given it a listen yet!
Hey Space Cadets, I hope life finds you well! I am doing good, preparing for my wife’s surgery next month and trying to write every day. The good news, the surgeon thinks she will recover quickly and be back to where she was before the car accident last year! Then it’s back to the races. I still have my Order of the Centurion book in the Galaxy’s Edge Universe tentatively scheduled for late fall and I submitted a short story in the next Four Horsemen Universe anthology in September. I should find out if it was accepted soon, and I’ll let you know! I’ll have additional writing announcements soon, as a certain project is nearing a date with an editing guru!
Hey Space Cadets, how’s everyone doing today? I’m doing fantastic, writing and preparing for the holidays. Yeah, that pesky little twerp in a diaper is floating around spreading love and crap, so us menfolk need to gird our loins, harden our hearts and prepare for the end times! Okay, jokes aside I can’t cheat this year. My go to gift, chocolate, is a no go with my wife’s new dietary restrictions so I have to actually think about a gift for her. And do it on a budget, since Amazon forgot to back my truck full of money up to my front door. All jokes aside, life is good and I can’t wait to finish this novel and write the next dozen. Until then, let’s talk to my special guest.
Hey Space Cadets, here is the first installment in a new series of science fiction movie reviews. Being snowed in early January gave me time to watch new movies, eat some popcorn and just enjoy my family. I’m still writing, and I’ll have more news on that soon. I’ve started recording my new Sci-Fi Shenanigans Podcast with my friend Chris Winder, and episode two recently went live. In addition to more family time, I’ve fought off the cabin fever by writing more and shoveled snow. In case you missed it, The Sleeping Legion Series has wrapped up and you can buy it on Amazon. The final audio book for Insurgency: Spartika is in the works, and then you can enjoy every one of my stories in audio book, paperback, or eBook!
Hello Space Cadets! I just wanted to give you an update on where we are in the process for Book 4. First, the title has been decided!! We chose Insurgency: Spartika for the official name, so I can stop calling it “Book 4!” And to make things better, it looks like the final book in The Sleeping Legion will be coming out this month! But what sort of reveal would this be if I didn’t give you peek at the new cover?
