Hey Space Cadets, how is everyone doing today?  I’m good and wanted to bring you an update!  I’m slogging through the editing of the super-duper secret project I finished in December and have added about 10k words to the length. It’s sitting at about 60k now and will probably end around 65k to 70k when I’m done. I’m not sure when the publisher will make an announcement, but I’ll keep you posted the moment I can!  I’m also fighting through my wife’s health issues, taking her to her doctors and the like. It’s a time suck because she can’t drive, and we don’t live in a mass transit region.  We’ll figure out our new rhythm eventually, and my production speed will improve. But enough depressing crap, let’s talk about some fun stuff! I recently started a podcast with my friend Chris Winder all about the worlds of written science fiction!  Check it out, you might enjoy it!

Hey Space Cadets, how’s everyone doing?  I’m doing well, busy editing and wrapping up some annoying work with my medical insurance. Hopefully, this will be the last time I talk about the editing phase book four. I’ve just finished editing book four of The Sleeping Legion Series. I’ve only got to wrap-up the last half of the TEU3 Anthology, and then I start writing my next project.  Ending a series is tougher than I thought; I’ve found I miss the characters as I work on the next project.  Can’t wait to fall in love with the next motley crew I assemble and unleash upon the galaxy! Daily Exercise Podcast Time

JR ExercisingHey Space Cadets, how’re y’all doing this fine day?  I’m doing great, and cranking away on the revisions to book four! I’ve also been exercising every day to clear my mind, and hopefully maybe fit back into my uniform before the decade ends! Okay, maybe that last part was a pipe dream, but I’m okay with it!  Anyway, while I walk, I like to listen to podcasts and audiobooks.  I’ll give you a list of some of the podcasts I listen to, and some good audio books in another post!  Most of my podcasts are writing related, or historical in nature, so I can inundate myself with ideas to stir the stories.  Hopefully, these podcasts are helpful!

Marine Monday: Tirunesh Nhlappo

Hey Space Cadets, how’re you doing today?  I’m doing good, coming down from my editing high.  Corey and I just spent four hours reading through the first 14 chapters of Operation Breakout, with another longer session planned for tomorrow to get through to chapter 30.  Tomorrow I also have an interview with The Listeners of the Dead Robot Society, one of my favorite podcasts!  I’ll share before it goes live, though I won’t know the exact date right away.  And I’ll try not to look too much like an idiot, I promise!!  Finally, I’ve made good progress on my submission for the Four Horsemen Anthology.

 

Now, on to today’s Marine Monday!  For today’s chat let’s talk about what was leaked to me by our friendly neighborhood LegionLeak source!  We have the official bio of Field Marshal Tirunesh Nhlappo.  Now the important parts!  Remember, destroy this message after reading it so the anonymous source can live long enough to continually feed us excellent intelligence!  Without further ado, here is the leaked document!
