Beyond the Shenanigans: Felix R Savage

Hey, Space Cadets, how are you doing this fine day?  I’m doing great, had an awesome walk and trying to get back into the routine of healthy living. Hopefully, life cooperates so I can continue my exercise routine, but ultimately family first.  I’m at chapter 80 of 88 with book four, which doesn’t yet have a name.  I intentionally keep my wife and kids in the backdrop, since they deserve their privacy and anonymity.  However, if you’ve read this blog you’ll know that my wife is recovering from a car accident and my son is having a tough go of it. I know this book should’ve been finished two months ago, but I trust you’ll forgive my tardiness. Continue reading “Beyond the Shenanigans: Felix R Savage”

Hey Space Cadets, today I wanted to bring you some awesome little science fiction films.  I will admit they are to help me with time management as I get my rewrites done, but the are cool!  They’re indie productions, and very much worth watching!  I plan on posting another blog soon, but for today I need to work on book four of the Sleeping Legion Series.  So here’s a cool film!

Book Review: Kill Team (Galaxy’s Edge Book 3)

TRMN

Hey Space Cadets, here is the next installment in my series of book reviews.  As I’ve mentioned earlier, I’m a member of the TRMN.  It’s a fan club for the Honor Harrington Universe by David Weber, and they do contests for their members all the time.  There is a reading contest currently going on, and we get points for page reads.  I’m thrilled as it prompted me to read more, as I’ve let writing get in the way of reading!  In addition to reading more in the last few months, this month I’ve been working the editorial revisions for book four, the final book of The Sleeping Legion Series.  Finally, if you haven’t read it, Operation Breakout and For a Few Credits More are live!

Author Growth

Space

Hey Space Cadets, how’re you doing today?  I’m fine, working on the editing my final Sleeping Legion novel and dealing with some family medical issues that are slowing me down.  Not the kind of stuff that needs airing, as it isn’t my laundry, but it’s been a slight roadblock for me. I made myself a promise when I started that writing wouldn’t get in the way of my family time and right now that has been a priority.  I will still push ahead editing this, and I’m over halfway through this major revision.  I think Boss Man and I are on the same page with the book now, and specifically how we link my series back into his.  So, let’s push past the dreary realities of life and talk about writing! SciFy Shenanigans: Matthew Williams

Hey Space Cadets, how’s everyone doing today?  I’m doing amazing, just drinking coffee and working on my updates to book 4.  Since not much else is going on – let’s get right to the point of my latest blog posting!  Yes, I still love doing author interviews!  I’m continually looking for more subjects for the Warrior Weekend Series, and the ‘SciFy Shenanigans’ series.  In this interview series, I specifically to talk with other authors of science fiction!  Here goes nothing!

Hey Space Cadets, today I wanted to bring you some awesome little science fiction films.  They’re indie productions, but still worth the watch!  I planned on posting one every Sunday to entertain you while I’m buried deep in my bunker working on Maternal Vengeance. However, I find that I will be using them during the week too.

Until next time, stay frosty and don’t forget to keep your powder dry!
