Hey Space Cadets, how’re yall doing today? I’m doing good, just took my son to the Children’s Museum of Portsmouth! He loved being able to touch science, and we followed that up with a nice brewery and a stroll along the waterfront. So besides having fun, I wanted to bring you some good news to share! Two of my short stories were accepted into anthologies! Wanna know more? Let’s break it down!
For A Few Credits More:
I wrote a short story with my soon to be Odera Chronicles co-author Corey Truax, and I have to say I’m pleased with it! You’ll love it, it’s set in the Four Horsemen Universe (4HU) created by Chris Kennedy, and Mark Wandrey. We tell the tale of a drunkard seeking salvation through the Church of the Holy Hand Grenade. It’s a cross between Don Quixote and Judge Dredd, with a little Barney Fife thrown in for fun. Okay, not really. Well maybe, you’ll have to read it to find out! In the meantime, check out the other books in this vast universe of mech goodness!
The Expanding Universe: An Exploration of the Science Fiction Genre (SCIFI Anthology) 3:
[NO COVER ATM]
This anthology is a part of The Expanding Universe Series, an anthology that seeks to explore the science fiction genre. It’s being hosted by Craig Martelle, another veteran turned crazed writer! I’ve interviewed him for my Warrior Weekend Interview’s if you want to pop on over and get to know him more. I’ll probably strong arm the other authors in this anthology to do my SciFi Shenanigans Interviews going forward, so watch out for them! My story is set in my New Carthage World and is tentatively titled LZ NEW BIRTH. When I finish The Sleeping Legion Series and then The Odera Chronicles, this is the world my crazy mind will take me!
Whelp, that’s it for now… I’ve got words to write!
Until next time, stay frosty and don’t forget to keep your powder dry!

Congratulations JR! 😉👍
Wow! That’s fantastic! Congrats! And I hope your son liked the beer. 🙂
My kids love the children’s museum by us. So fun 🙂 Not sure how they;d take to brewery tour, though… My oldest would probably just complain of the yeast smell!
